Stonewall Carport

This little project was something a little bit special after our successful renovation of the house in Mount Osmond. The house had a wonderful setting, but the carport below left a little bit to be desired about the process of arriving to the house. The client wanted to do something about this and we suggested that we could retain some of the original stone but design and structure that floated over the top.
In reference to a lot of Modernist buildings the carport has clean lines and a rigid framework which allow for a floating pavilion, a sail over the top of the stone. The carport is designed to frame the entry for guests and residents of this magnificent home and we think it does a wonderful job.
